અસ્પૃશ્યતાનું દુષણ રાલેગન સિદ્ધિ ગામના લોકોએ સારી પેઠે દૂર કર્યું અને તેઓ સમૂહમાં તહેવારો ઉજવતા થયા. રાલેગન ગામે નીચલી કોમ પ્રત્યેની દોષદ્રષ્ટિ કાઢી નાખી અને દલિતો સમાજનો એક ભાગ બન્યા. ગામલોકો એ મળીને હરિજન અને દલિત લોકોના ઘરો બનાવ્યા અને તેમને દેવા ના બોજમાંથી મૂક્ત કરવા સાર્વજનિક પ્રયત્નો કર્યા.
