'''કરકરો''' ([[અંગ્રેજી]]: Demoiselle Crane, [[હિન્દી]]: कूंज, [[ઉર્દુ]]: کونج, [[પંજાબી ભાષા|પંજાબી]]: ਕੂੰਜ]]), (''Anthropoides virgo'') એ મધ્ય યુરેશિયામાં જોવા મળતી બગલા (crane)ની એક પ્રજાતિ છે જેનો વિસ્તાર કાળા સમુદ્રથી મોંગોલિયા અને ઉત્તર પૂર્વ [[ચીન]] સુધી છે. તુર્કિમાં પણ તેની એક નાની પ્રજનન વસાહત આવેલી છે. આ એક ઋતુ પ્રવાસી [[પક્ષી]] છે, પશ્ચિમ [[યુરેશિયા]]ના પક્ષીઓ [[શિયાળો]] [[આફ્રિકા]]માં ગાળે છે જ્યારે [[એશિયા]], મોંગોલિયા અને ચીનના પક્ષીઓ શિયાળો ભારતીય ઉપખંડમાં ગાળે છે. આ પક્ષી ઉત્તર ભારતની સંસ્કૃતિ સાથે પ્રતીકાત્મક નોંધપાત્રતાથી જોડાયેલું છે, જ્યાં તે '''"કુંજ"''' ના નામે ઓળખાય છે.<ref name="ref67xemux">{{Citation | title=Indian birds | author=R.
