બરોડાના મહારાણી
મહારાણી ચિમનાબાઈ (૧૮૭૨ – ૨૩ ઓગસ્ટ ૧૯૫૮) જેઓ ચિમનાબાઈ દ્વિતીય તરીકે પણ ઓળખાય છે, તેઓ બ્રિટિશ ભારતના ગુજરાત રાજ્યના બરોડા રજવાડાના મહારાજા સયાજીરાવ ગાયકવાડના બીજા પત્ની હતા. તેઓ ધ પોઝીશન ઓફ વિમેન ઇન ઇન્ડિયન લાઇફ (૧૯૧૧) નામના ગ્રંથના લેખક છે અને ૧૯૨૭માં અખિલ ભારતીય મહિલા પરિષદ (એઆઇડબલ્યુસી)ના પ્રથમ પ્રમુખ હતા.

શ્રીમંત લક્ષ્મીબાઈ મોહિતે ૧૮૮૫માં સયાજીરાવ ગાયકવાડ સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા પછી ચિમનાબાઈ દ્વિતીય બન્યા.[૧]
એક પ્રગતિશીલ મહિલા તરીકે તેમણે કન્યાઓ માટે શિક્ષણ માટે કામ કર્યું, પરદા પ્રથા અને બાળલગ્નને નાબૂદ કર્યા, અને ૧૯૨૭માં અખિલ ભારતીય મહિલા પરિષદ (એઆઈડબલ્યુસી)ના પ્રથમ પ્રમુખ બન્યા.[૨][૩] તેઓ ધ પોઝીશન ઓફ વિમેન ઇન ઇન્ડિયન લાઇફ (૧૯૧૧) ગ્રંથના લેખક છે.[૪]
તેમના પુત્રી ઈન્દિરા દેવી કૂચબિહારના મહારાજા જિતેન્દ્ર નારાયણના પત્ની બન્યા હતા.[૫]
