I'm asking about grammatical errors. કાર્તિકભાઈ સાથે સહમત. લેખ જે વ્યક્તિ પર હોય તે કોઈપણ માતૃભાષા ધરાવતા હોય અહીં તો ગુજરાતી શબ્દ જ વાપરવા. આ વાક્ય લખીને પણ હું મારો સમય વેડફતો હોઉં એવું લાગે છે. ગુજરાતી વિકિપીડિયામાં ગુજરાતી નહિ તો કઈ ભાષા હોય?--Vyom25 (ચર્ચા) ૨૦:૦૪, ૨૮ ફેબ્રુઆરી ૨૦૧૮ (IST)

@Spirit of the night:: માફ કરજો, પણ તમારી સાથે તદ્દન અસહમત અને @KartikMistry: સાથે સંપૂર્ણ સહમત. આગળ વધુ તે પહેલા એક વાત એ કહેવી હતી કે તમારે અમારો સૌ ગુજરાતી વિકિપીડિયન્સનો આભાર માનવો જોઈએ કે તમે અહિં ઉપરાઉપરી અંગ્રેજીમાં સંદેશા લખો છો અને છતાં અમે તમને ઉત્તર અને સફાઇઓ આપી રહ્યા છીએ. આ ગુજરાતી વિકિપીડિયા છે અને અહિં ફક્ત અને ફક્ત ગુજરાતી જ ભાષાનું ચલણ છે. ગુજરાતી સિવાયની ભાષામાં લખેલા લેખોને પણ આપણે ભાંગફોડ (Vandalism) ગણીને દૂર કરીએ છીએ. અને બીજી વાત, એક સમયે આપણે વૈકલ્પિક dialect and vocabulary વાપરી પણ લઈએ, પરંતુ અહિં તો આખેઆખી language alternate કરેલી હતી. આપ language, dialect અને vocabulary આ ત્રણે શબ્દોના અર્થ ચકાસી જુઓ, ભેદ આપોઆપ સમજાઈ જશે.

Language changes and is influenced by many things, who the hell are you to decide if a simple word that is used in everyday conversation all over the Gujarati speaking world is now no longer to be given usage in its standardised written form. Where's your dictionary citation, whatever words I have used, they're in the dictionary. If the sentence is gramatically sound, you don't get to remove or replace vocabulary to suite your communal purist stances. To destory the diverse vocabulary of the language by means of Wikipedia is the biggest vandalism that can ever be.

On the whole English note, I don't live in Gujarat but I'm trying to learn, love and promote the language. Anyways aa sau gujarati wikipedians kaya che? hu abhari chu ke temne mari madad kari ane haa mane sahmat che ahi fakat gujarati nu chalan che most definitely but then point out which articles here I've written in English? koipan bhasha shikhva mate will take time to learn and progress but if you keep shutting off attempts to engage with you how do you ecpect people to learn?

What adds to the absurdity is that there is hardly any activity on this Wikipedia version even though Gujarati has so many speakers. If I am here volunteering (emphasis I'm not obtaining/achieveing anything for myself here, its out of love and a will to learn and reconnect) my time to create articles and can only engage in a robust manner in the English language, to problem shu che? If this was a thriving community full of action then maybe talk pages of English wouldn't be a constructive addition to the project. But at the current stage of development of this place and community, trying to shut somebody down with that point is absolutely ludicrous.

You yourself admit that "Though I loved Gujarati and had a vast vocabulary, my writing was not very good, especially I used to commit many grammatical, including spelling, mistakes and my hand writings were at times next to impossible to read." You were indeed very fortunate to have somebody to help you but not all of us are, so let others have a chance as well to learn and maybe you will see a new spirit to this place.
