દરીયાઈ અબલખ
અબલખ (અંગ્રેજી: Eurasian Oystercatcher, Common Pied Oystercatcher, Oystercatcher (યુરોપમાં)), (Haematopus ostralegus) એ પશ્ચિમ યુરોપ, મધ્ય યુરેશિયા, ચીન અને કોરીયાના પશ્ચિમ કિનારાના વિસ્તારોમાં વિશાળપણે ફેલાયેલું પક્ષી છે. આ પક્ષી ફારાઓ ટાપુઓનું (Faroe Islands) રાષ્ટ્રીય પક્ષી છે જ્યાં તે tjaldur તરીકે ઓળખાય છે.

આ પક્ષી 40–45 centimetres (16–18 in) લાંબુ (ચાંચ ૮–૯ સે.મી.) અને 80–85 centimetres (31–33 in) પાંખોનો વ્યાપ ધરાવતું હોય છે.[૨] તેના પીંછા કાળા-ધોળા, પગ લાલ અને મજબુત પહોળી લાલ ચાંચ હોય છે.
