'''કચ્છ સ્ટેટ રેલ્વે''' (સી. એસ. આર.)''' એક ૨ ફૂટ ૬ ઈંચ (૭૬૨મિ.મી૭૬૨ મિમી) ની બ્રિટીશ ભારત સાથે સંલગ્નએવાસંલગ્ન એવા [[કચ્છ રાજ્ય]]ની નેરો ગેજનેરોગેજ રેલ્વે હતી,લાઇન હતી.

આ રેલ્વે માટે કચ્છ રાજ્યના મહારાઓ ખેંગારજી બાવાએ નાણાં પૂરા પાડ્યા હતા. તુણાથી અંજાર સુધીની પ્રથમ રેલલાઇન બાંધવાની શરુઆત ૧૯૦૦-૦૧ માં૦૧માં થઈ, જે ૧૯૦૫ માં૧૯૦૫માં કાર્યરત થઈ હતી. અંજારથી તત્કાલીન રાજ્યની રાજધાની [[ભુજ]] સુધીની લાઇનો માટેની કામગીરી ૧૯૦૧-૦૨માં શરૂ થઈ અને તે ૧૯૦૮ માં પૂર્ણ થઈ. ૧૯૧૨ માં૧૯૧૨માં વર્સામેડી (અંજારની નજીક) થી [[ભચાઉ]] સુધી ૩૨ માઇલનો વધુ ઉમેરો કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. [[કંડલા બંદર|કંડલા]] બંદર સુધીના ૧૫ માઇલ સુધીનું વિસ્તરણ ૧૯૩૦ ના૧૯૩૦ના અંતમાં શરૂ થઈ ૧૯૩૨ માં૧૯૩૨માં પૂર્ણ થયું હતું. <ref name="B">Transportation History of Kutch. ૧૯૪૦ માં રેલ્વે ૩,૦૦,૦૦૦ મુસાફરોનું વહન કરતું હતું, જ્યારે માલ વહન મુખ્યત્વે કપાસ, અનાજ અને ખાંડનું હતું. રેલ્વે ચાર નાના ૪-૪-૦ પ્રકારના એન્જિનનો ઉપયોગ કરતી હતી, પાછળથી ત્રણ ૨૫ ટનના ૪-૬-૦ એન્જિન જોડવામાં આવ્યા. મહારાઓ પાસે પોતાની માલિકીની પાટા પર ચાલતી ગાડી (પેટ્રોલ રેલકાર) હતી, જેની ડિઝાઇન એવરાર્ડ કાલથ્રોપે તૈયાર કરી હતી. તેનો ઉપયોગ મહારાઓ તેના શિકાર અભિયાનમાં શૂટિંગ કાર તરીકે કરતા હતા. <ref name="Hughes">Hughes, Hugh 1994 ''Indian Locomotives Pt. 3, Narrow Gauge 1863-1940''.
